Classic Breakbeat Tutorials using Reason pt. 1

So, among other things, I started making production-type tutorial thingies. Here are the first two, where I teach how to chop up and mangle a classic breakbeat using Reason's NNXT.

Let me know if you find these useful, I'm going to be making more.

RVD3 - Silly Dumb Shit

Fuzz here,

Today I am announcing the first track by my new group RVD3, which consists of rapper Top-Notch, producer Klasz Sick, and yours truly, Selekta Fuzz. You should definitely check out some of our individual work.

Anyways, this is a stereotypical trap track, with heavy 808 kicks, absurd amounts of snares, even more absurd amounts of high hats, and goofy samples that lead into even goofier drops, all with a certain level of tongue-in-cheek. However, if you really pick apart the elements of the track, you will begin to notice the various backgrounds that we have. You can hear Top-Notch's hip hop influences in the silly vocal before the drop, Klasz Sick's "I actually play the drums and am good at sequencing them" input in the drums (particularly the snare rolls), and my jungle/drum and bass influences with the breaks and that one little reese bass I threw in for funsies.

Anyway, without further ado, I present to you RVD3 - Silly Dumb Shit.

This is the beginning of what will be a long (and hopefully steady) stream of content from us. Enjoy.

UPDATES

So... it's been a long time since I posted on this blog. I've been very busy, yadda yadda, usual excuses. But I'm going to start posting regularly.

Biggest news is, I've been working on music a whole lot, and my productions are taking on a whole new level.

Check out my work here. I've been producing drum and bass, house, trap, old school dubstep, anything that really strikes my fancy.  As I finish tracks I'll post them here.

Also, expect a remix of my boy Lucider's "Play It." This tune is a huge future jungle masher, and I'm really excited to remix it.

Anyway, surely you'll hear from me later.
